Thirty Years … and Counting!
This is all about a heartfelt Thank You from all the associates and partners at EGP. We reached our 30th anniversary on January 1st and couldn't have done so without our many clients and community relationships, all part of the EGP family. We wanted you to know how grateful we are to you for making all of this possible.
As much as we've enjoyed the first thirty years, we have never been as excited as we are now. We've managed to develop into a full-service firm with outstanding resources without losing the personal connections that have made our existence so enjoyable and so meaningful.
We now have three offices – North Little Rock, Heber Springs and Bryant – and 32 people, the best we've ever had. On January 1st, the firm of Jerry, Gorman and Associates in Bryant became part of EGP. Along with a number of outstanding people came outstanding expertise in technology and construction both of which enhance the services we can offer our clients. We are members of PKF North America, an association of CPA firms. This association has been an outstanding benefit and has added greatly to our service offerings, staff education and management practices.
So, once again, Thank You for all you've done. Let's work on the next 30 years.

Firm Announcements
- EGP, PLLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Todd Brown, CPA, to the position of Manager in the Heber Springs office. Todd has been with our firm in Heber Springs since 2005, providing a full range of accounting and tax services to the office's diverse client base of individuals and small businesses, with emphasis on oil and gas taxation and accounting, contractors, nonprofit organizations, and QuickBooks software consulting. He is currently in the process of becoming the area's first Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.Brown has been active in the Heber Springs community since joining EGP, including serving on the Board of Director so the Rotary Club of Cleburne County since 2005, and as Treasurer of that organization since 2008. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Todd is a graduate of Searcy High School, graduated magna cum laude in 1997 from Harding University where he also played baseball. We are extremely pleased to make this announcement and even more pleased to have Todd as a crucial member of our team and our firm.
- EGP, PLLC of North Little Rock is pleased to announce Lindsey Baker, CPA, has been promoted to Manager of Audit and Assurance practice. Lindsey joined the firm in June of 2009, native Arkansan and graduate of Harding University. Lindsey began her career with a Big Four firm in audit and has over eight years public accounting experience with a wide range of auditing expertise in the areas of financial and professional services for municipal entities, privately held and publicly traded companies and nonprofit organizations. Lindsey is a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
- Congratulations to Candice Abele, Senior Auditor of North Little Rock, on becoming the latest member of the EGP team to pass her CPA exam. Candice has over four years of public accounting experience with a wide range of expertise in the areas of governmental, construction contractors, distributorships, agriculture and employee benefit plans. Candice is graduate of Hendrix University; Candice is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is the current Chairman of the American Society of Women Accountants.
- EGP, PLLC of Bryant welcomes Marcia Rhodes, CPA, to the team. Marcia has over 20 years experience in public accounting and is licensed in Arkansas and Mississippi. She began her career with one of the largest public accounting firms in the state of Mississippi and specializes in individual tax and small business. Marcia graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University.
- EGP, PLLC North Little welcomes Ryan Wallace to the Tax Service practice. Ryan has over ten years of experience in public accounting, primarily focused on tax compliance and planning for individuals and closely-held businesses. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and is currently a licensed CPA in Georgia and South Carolina and soon to be in Arkansas. Ryan is a native Georgian and just recently relocated to Little Rock.
